Day One: Arrive Cairo
When you arrive at International Cairo Airport, you will find Egypt Light Tours Rep. waiting for you holding our sign. He will meet and assist at the airport. Then he will accompany you with an A/C car to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Two: Giza Pyramids & the Egyptian Museum
After your breakfast meal, you will find Egypt Light Tours tour guide waiting for you to start your tour in Cairo.
Firstly, you will go-ahead to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to see the collection reflecting the art and civilization of the ancient Egyptians ranging from prehistory to Greco-Roman times. Also, you will enjoy the gold and treasures of the Yuya and Tuya collection.
Then you will be moved to Giza Plateau, where you will be amazed by the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. These pyramids date back to the 4th dynasty, the old kingdom. Your tour guide will tell you about the secrets of these great pyramids. Additionally, you will see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
You can attend the Sound and Light Show at Giza Plateau. It will be an optional tour.
Finally, our team will move you back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Three: Fly to Aswan
After your breakfast in the hotel in Cairo, our team will transfer you to Cairo Airport to take your plane to Aswan. When you arrive at Aswan Airport, you will find our team waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Aswan. Overnight in Aswan
You may enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples to see those colossal temples built by King Ramses II. The first one was dedicated to King Ramses II as a god, while the second one was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.
Day Four: Aswan Tour
After your breakfast in the hotel in Aswan, your tour guide will pick you up to accompany you to start your tour in Aswan.
Firstly, you will visit Philae Temple, the temple of the goddess Isis. After that, you will be moved by motorboat to the Nubian village. Enjoy the Nubian house decorations and folklore.
On your way to the Nubian village, you will see Soheil Island and the Aswan Dam.
Finally, you will be transferred to the cruise. Overnight in the Nile Cruise.
Day Five: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples
After breakfast, you will visit Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is shared by two gods, Sobek god (the crocodile) and Horus god (falcon).
After that, you will go ahead to see Edfu temple, the Temple of falcon god (Horus).
Then, our team will transfer you to the Nile Cruise. Overnight in the Nile Cruise.
Day Six: The West Bank of Luxor City
After breakfast, you will go-ahead to the west bank of Luxor city to discover the Valley of Kings, housing 62 tombs of kings of the New Kingdom. Also, you will have the opportunity to visit the intact tomb of the young king (Tutankhamun). It will be an optional tour. This tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in November 1922. In this tomb, you will find the king’s mummified corpse.
After that, Colossi of Memnon, the funerary temple of king Amenhotep III.
Then you will move to El Deir El Bahari temple or Queen Hatshepsut temple to more about this great queen.
Finally, you will be transferred to your hotel in Luxor. Overnight in the Nile Cruise.
Day Seven: The East Bank of Luxor City
After having breakfast, you will visit the two temples of the god Amun-Ra (Karnak Complex and Luxor Temple). Also, you will see the amazing avenue of rams linking between those two temples.
Then our team will transfer you to Luxor Airport to take your plane to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo hotel.
Day Eight: Saqqara & Memphis
After your breakfast, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to go ahead to Saqqara to visit King Djoser’s complex to see the first stone building in history and the first pyramid in the ancient Egyptian civilization (the Step pyramid).
After that, you will move to Memphis site. Memphis was the first capital of united Egypt and the capital of ancient Egypt during the Old Kingdom. It was founded by King Menes in 3200 BC. Also, you will visit Memphis Museum to see the great statue of King Ramses II and the second biggest sphinx in Egypt (the sphinx of Queen Hatshepsut).
Finally, our team will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Nine: Departure Day
After having your breakfast, our Rep. will transfer you to International Cairo Airport to take your plane for departure.
