Day One: International Cairo Airport
When you arrive at International Cairo Airport, you will find Egypt Light Tours Rep. waiting for you holding our sign. He will meet and assist at the airport. Then he will accompany you with an A/C car to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Two: Cairo Highlights
After having your breakfast, you will find Egypt Light Tours tour guide waiting for you to start your tour.
Firstly, you will go ahead to Giza Plateau, where you will be amazed by the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your tour guide will tell you about the secrets of these great pyramids. Additionally, you will see the Great Sphinx and the valley temple.
After that, you will move to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to see the collection reflecting the art and civilization of the ancient Egyptians ranging from prehistory to Greco-Roman times. Also, you will enjoy the gold and treasures of the Yuya and Tuya collection.
Then you will continue to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Church of Abu Serga, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Then move to Islamic Cairo to explore Khan El Khalili Bazaar, Cairo’s famous old bazaar.
Finally, our team will transfer you to your hotel.
Day Three: Alamein & Siwa Oasis
Egypt Light Tours tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo to go ahead to Alamein city. Alamein city is famous for its history during the World War II. You can notice that in Alamein Museum and the Cemetery.
Then move ahead to Siwa Oasis. Overnight in Siwa.
Day Four: Siwa Oasis
After your breakfast meal, your tour guide will accompany you to Shali, the old city of Siwa Oasis. In Shali, you will enjoy seeing groves spanning in each direction.
After that, you will visit the Oracle Temple of Amun or Alexander Temple. This temple dates back to the 26 Dynasty by King Ahmose II. Then enjoy Cleopatra Bath which is one of these large stone pools and a popular bathing spot for locals as well as tourists. Then move to Siwa Museum.
After that, you will go to the Mountain of the Dead to explore its tombs dating back to the ancient Egyptian and Greco-Roman periods. Then move to therapeutic Mountain, Dakrour Mountain. Overnight in Siwa.
Day Five: from Siwa to Bahariya Oasis
After having your breakfast meal, our team will pick you up by 4×4 car from Siwa to Bahariya Oasis. Overnight in Bahariya Oasis.
Day Six: Bahariya Oasis
After breakfast, you will visit the valley of the Golden Mummies housing almost 10,000 mummies. Then you will move to tombs of the Nobles, Alexander Temple, and Temple of Ain Meffetla.
After that, you will go-ahead to the White Desert, El Haize Valley, the Black desert, Agabat Valley, and Crystal Mountain. Overnight camping in the White Desert.
Day Seven: Farafra & Dakhla Oasis
In the morning, our team will transfer you to Farafra Oasis. In Farafra Oasis, you will visit Bir Setah hot spring and Badr’s Museum, a mud-brick house displaying the habits of the Farafra community.
After that, you will be moved from Farafra to Dakhla Oasis. In Dakhla Oasis, you will explore Deir El Hagar, built during the Roman period. Then visit Al Qasr village. It is an Islamic village housing an Ayyubid mosque. Overnight in Dakhla Oasis.
Day Eight: Kharga Oasis
After breakfast, you will move ahead to Kharga Oasis to discover the Qasr El Labkha. It is a Roman fortress on the old caravan route. Then go to visit The Museum of Antiquities of Kharga Oasis displaying collections dating back to the pre-history period discovered in Kharga Oasis.
After that, you will move to Hibis Temple. This temple distinguishes with showing ancient Egyptian, Persian, and Greco-Roman art. Note: you will visit this temple from the outside.
Also, you will explore The Cemetery of Bagawat. It is a center for Egyptian Christians who escaped from Roman persecution during the 7th century AD. Finally, you will move ahead to the Temple of Dush, dedicated to the goddess Isis and the god Serapis. Overnight camping in Kharga Oasis.
Day Nine: from Kharga Oasis to Luxor
After having your breakfast, you will be transferred by vehicle to Luxor city.
Check in your hotel in Luxor. Overnight in Luxor.
Day Ten: The East Bank of Luxor City
After your breakfast in the hotel, our team will transfer you to the Nile Cruise by an air-conditioned vehicle. Check in the Nile Cruise.
After that, your tour guide will accompany you in a tour to the east bank of Luxor city. You will visit the two temples of the god Amun-Ra (Karnak Complex and Luxor Temple). Also, you will see the amazing avenue of rams linking between those two temples.
Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day Eleven: The West Bank of Luxor City
After breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you to the west bank of Luxor city to discover its famous attractions. You will visit the Valley of King, housing 62 tombs of kings of the New Kingdom.
After that, Colossi of Memnon, the funerary temple of king Amenhotep III.
Finally, you will move to El Deir El Bahari temple or Queen Hatshepsut temple to more about this great queen.
Then the cruise will sail to Edfu. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day Twelve: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
After breakfast, you will visit Edfu temple, the Temple of falcon god (Horus).
Sail to Kom Ombo.
After lunch meal, you will move to Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is shared by two gods, Sobek god (the crocodile) and Horus god (falcon)
Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day Thirteen: Aswan
After your breakfast meal, your tour guide will accompany you to visit the sightseeing of Aswan.
You will visit the High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile flooding that used to happen every year during summer. After that, you will move to the Granite Quarries to see the unfinished obelisk considered the largest known obelisk.
Then you will go ahead to Philae Temple, the temple of the goddess Isis.
Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day Fourteenth: Disembarkation
After breakfast, you will disembark from the cruise and be transferred to Aswan Airport to catch your plane to Cairo.
When you arrive at Cairo Airport you will find our Rep. waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Fifteen: Departure Day
After having your breakfast, our Rep. will transfer you to International Cairo Airport to take your plane for departure.
