Day One: Arrive Cairo
When you arrive at International Cairo Airport, you will find Egypt Light Tours Rep. waiting for you holding our sign. He will meet and assist at the airport. Then he will accompany you with an A/C car to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Two: The Pyramids & Egyptian Museum Tour
After your breakfast meal, you will find Egypt Light Tours tour guide waiting for you to start your tour in Cairo.
Firstly, you will go-ahead to the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to see the collection reflecting the art and civilization of the ancient Egyptians ranging from prehistory to Greco-Roman times. Also, you will enjoy the gold and treasures of the Yuya and Tuya collection.
After that, you will be moved to Giza Plateau, where you will be amazed by the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your tour guide will tell you about the secrets of these great pyramids. Additionally, you will see the Great Sphinx and the Valley Temple.
At the end of the tour, our team will transfer you to the train station to take the Sleeper train to Aswan. Overnight sleeper train.
Day Three: Aswan
When you arrive at Aswan train station, you will find our team waiting for you to pick you up to Aswan hotel. Overnight in Aswan.
You may enjoy purchasing an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples to see those colossal temples built by King Ramses II. The first one was dedicated to King Ramses II as a god, while the second one was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.
Day Four: Aswan
After your breakfast, you will find your tour guide waiting for you to pick you up to start your tour in Aswan.
You will visit the High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile flooding that used to happen every year during summer.
After that, you will go ahead to Philae Temple, the temple of the goddess Isis.
After your tour in Aswan, you will be transferred to the Nile Cruise. Overnight in Aswan.
Day Five: Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples
After breakfast, you will visit Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is shared by two gods, Sobek god (the crocodile) and Horus god (falcon).
After that, you will go ahead to see Edfu temple, the Temple of falcon god (Horus).
Then, our team will transfer you to the Nile Cruise. Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day Six: The West Bank of Luxor City
After breakfast, you will go-ahead to the west bank of Luxor city to discover the Valley of Kings, housing 62 tombs of kings of the New Kingdom. Also, you will have the opportunity to visit the intact tomb of the young king (Tutankhamun). It will be an optional tour. This tomb was discovered by Howard Carter in November 1922. In this tomb, you will find the king’s mummified corpse.
After that, Colossi of Memnon, the funerary temple of king Amenhotep III.
Finally, you will move to El Deir El Bahari temple or Queen Hatshepsut temple to more about this great queen.
At the end of the tour, you will move back to the Nile Cruise. Overnight in Luxor.
Day Seven: Baris Oasis
After having your breakfast, you will disembark from the cruise. After that, our team will help you to move ahead to Baris Oais to visit Dush Temple. Overnight camping in the Western Desert.
Day Eight: Kharga Oasis
After breakfast, you will move to Kharga Oasis to visit Qasr El Labkha. It is a Roman fortress on the old caravan route. Then go to visit The Museum of Antiquities of Kharga Oasis displaying collections dating back to the pre-history period discovered in Kharga Oasis. After that, you will move to Hibis Temple. This temple distinguishes with showing ancient Egyptian, Persian, and Greco-Roman art. Note: you will visit this temple from the outside.
Also, you will explore The Cemetery of Bagawat. It is a center for Egyptian Christians who escaped from Roman persecution during the 7th century AD.
Then you will be moved to Dakhla Oasis to spend this night in a hut built on the oasis tradition style. Overnight in Dakhla Oasis.
Day Nine: Dakhla Oasis
After having your breakfast, you will discover Al Qasr village. It is an Islamic village housing an Ayyubid mosque. Then you will move to visit Deir El Hagar, built during the Roman period.
After your Lunch meal, you will enjoy relaxing at hot spring. Then you will have the opportunity to ride a camel and enjoy landscape views. Overnight camping in the desert.
Day Ten: Farafra Oasis & the White Desert
In the morning, you will be moved to Farafra Oasis.
Firstly, you will visit Badr’s Museum. It is a mud-brick house displaying the habits of the Farafra community. After that, you will relax in Bir Setah hot spring.
Then you will go ahead to the White Desert to be amazed by limestone formations formed by wind-eroded. You will spend your night in the desert under the stars. Overnight camping in the White Desert.
Day Eleven: Bahariya Oasis
In the morning, our team will accompany you to the Crystal Mountain. After that, you will move to the Black Desert. Then El Haize Valley to enjoy its hot springs of water.
Then, you will be transferred to Bahariya Oasis. There, you will visit the valley of the Golden Mummies housing almost 10,000 mummies. Then you will move to tombs of the Nobles, Alexander Temple, and Temple of Ain Meffetla.
Finally, you will move back to Cairo. Overnight in Cairo hotel.
Day Twelve: Departure Day
After having your breakfast, our Rep. will transfer you to International Cairo Airport to take your plane for departure.
