Day One: International Cairo Airport
When you arrive at International Cairo Airport, you will find Egypt Light Tours Rep. waiting for you holding our sign. He will accompany you with an A/C car to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
Day Two: Cairo Highlights
After having your breakfast, Egypt Light Tours tour guide will accompany you to start your tour in Cairo.
Firstly, you will visit the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square to see the collection reflecting the art and civilization of the ancient Egyptians ranging from prehistory to Greco-Roman times. Also, you will enjoy the gold and treasures of the Yuya and Tuya collection.
Then you will go ahead to Giza Plateau, where you will be amazed by the three pyramids of Kings Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your tour guide will tell you about the secrets of these great pyramids. Additionally, you will see the Great Sphinx and the valley temple.
At night, you may enjoy an optional activity. You may attend the Sound & Light Show at Giza Plateau.
Overnight in Cairo.
Day Three: The East Bank of Luxor City
After having your breakfast, Egypt Light Tours Rep. will transfer you to Cairo Airport to catch your plane to Luxor.
When you arrive at Luxor Airport you will find Egypt Light Tours tour guide waiting for you to begin your tour on the east bank of Luxor city. You will visit the two temples of the god Amun-Ra (Karnak Complex and Luxor Temple). Also, you will see the amazing avenue of rams linking between those two temples.
Finally, you will be transferred to the Nile Cruise. Overnight in Luxor.
Day Four: The West Bank of Luxor City
After breakfast, your tour guide will accompany you to the west bank of Luxor city to discover its famous attractions. You will visit the Valley of King, housing the tombs of kings of the New Kingdom.
After that, Colossi of Memnon, the funerary temple of king Amenhotep III.
Finally, you will move to El Deir El Bahari temple or Queen Hatshepsut temple to more about this great queen.
Before the tour, you may enjoy an optional activity. You may get a Hot Balloon Ride to see the attractions of the west bank of Luxor city from the sky. This ride is approximately 30:45 minutes.
Overnight in Cruise.
Day Five: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
After breakfast, you will visit Edfu temple, the Temple of falcon god (Horus).
Sail to Kom Ombo.
After lunch meal, you will move to Kom Ombo Temple. This temple is shared by two gods, Sobek god (the crocodile) and Horus god (falcon)
Overnight in Kom Ombo.
Day Six: Aswan
After your breakfast meal, your tour guide will accompany you to visit the sightseeing of Aswan.
You will visit the High Dam, built between 1960 and 1970 to control the Nile flooding that used to happen every year during summer. After that, you will move to the Granite Quarries to see the unfinished obelisk considered the largest known obelisk.
Then you will go ahead to Philae Temple, the temple of the goddess Isis.
Overnight in Aswan.
Day Seven: Disembarkation
After breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to Aswan Airport to catch your plane to Cairo.
When you arrive at Cairo Airport you will find our Rep. waiting for you to transfer you to your hotel in Cairo or Giza. Overnight in Cairo.
You may enjoy an optional tour to Abu Simbel Temples to see those colossal temples built by King Ramses II. The first one was dedicated to King Ramses II as a god, while the second one was dedicated to Queen Nefertari and the goddess Hathor.
Day Eight: Alexandria
After having your breakfast, you will find our tour guide waiting for you to pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to Alexandria.
Your tour in Alex will start by visiting the library of Alexandria. It houses 8 million books. You will be able to visit its open court and free museums. Then you will move to visit Qaitbey Citadel, built where the Lighthouse of Alexandria that considered as one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
After that, you will visit Montaza Palace to see the gardens of the royal family in Egypt
You may enjoy an optional tour to St. Mark Church considered the first church in Egypt and Africa.
Finlay, you will be able to visit Stanley Bridge, the modern landmark of modern Alexandria, and enjoy taking fabulous photos there. Then our team will transfer you to Alexandria hotel.
Note: Alexandria Library is closed on Fridays and every public holiday. If you want to enter the reading area, you will have to buy an extra ticket.
Day Nine: Cairo
In the morning, our team will transfer you to Cairo by an A/C car, where you will meet your tour guide to start your tour.
You will visit Salah El Din Citadel. This citadel was built by Salah El Din on the Moqattam hills for defending Cairo from the armies of Crusaders. Also, you will see the Alabaster Mosque or Mohamed Ali Mosque. This mosque was founded with the design of Turkish mosques.
Then you will move to Coptic Cairo to see the Hanging Church, Church of Abu Serga, and .
Finally, you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo.
Day Ten: El Bahariya Oasis
At 6:00 AM, you will find our tour guide waiting for you to pick you up from your hotel to start your tour to El Bahariya Oasis. In El Bahariya Oasis, you will visit the Golden Mummies and Bannantiu tomb.
Then you will enjoy climbing the Black Mountains and seeing Salt Lake.
Overnight in El Bahariya Oasis
Day Eleven: El Bahariya Oasis
Continue your tour in El Bahariya Oasis by visiting the White Desert, the Black desert, and Crystal Mountain.
Then our team will drive you back to your hotel in Cairo
Day Twelve: Departure Day
After having your breakfast, our Rep. will transfer you to International Cairo Airport to take your plane for departure.
